Most keyboards stick to the same formula that’s existed for decades: rows of keys, maybe some RGB lighting, and not much else beyond what you’d expect. For creative professionals and multitaskers, that means constantly toggling between mouse, keyboard shortcuts, and settings menus throughout the day, breaking workflow momentum with every small adjustment.
The NuPhy Node75 shakes things up with a touch bar-style touch zone that lets you swipe, tap, and customize controls directly on the keyboard. This strip sits above the function row, making every workflow feel more intuitive and putting frequently used adjustments literally at your fingertips without reaching for a mouse or memorizing complex keyboard combinations.
Designer:
The touch zone responds to single taps, double-taps, and sliding gestures from right to left. Adjusting volume or screen brightness becomes as simple as swiping your finger across the strip, while custom functions can be assigned through NuPhy’s IO software. The bidirectional nature makes it perfect for controls that need precise adjustment rather than just on-off toggles.
Node75’s design blends retro-modern aesthetics with clean, minimalist lines throughout the entire chassis. The keyboard features a rectilinear body with a distinctive circular speaker-style grill pattern and understated keycap legends that feel both vintage and contemporary. Available in black, white, or pink finishes, it offers visual versatility for different desk setups and personal preferences.
The keyboard comes in both low-profile and high-profile versions, each delivering the same exceptional typing experience. NuPhy’s Nano and Max switches, combined with multi-layer gasket mounting and premium POM plus LY materials, create cushioned, vibration-free typing that feels refined and satisfying. The construction eliminates the hollow sound that plagues many mechanical keyboards.
Connectivity is genuinely wireless with tri-mode support covering wired USB-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless connections. The battery life is remarkable at up to 1,000 hours per charge, meaning you can work for weeks without hunting for cables or worrying about running out of power during important projects or creative sessions.
The Airfeet keyboard stand makes its debut outside NuPhy’s Air series, allowing the Node75 to sit securely on top of MacBooks. This eliminates the annoying gaps and accidental mispresses that usually happen when using external keyboards on laptops, letting you type on your MacBook as if working at a proper desk surface.
Real-world applications span from video editing and music production to coding and everyday productivity work. The touch zone particularly shines when you need quick access to volume controls during calls, brightness adjustments for different lighting conditions, or custom shortcuts for frequently used applications and creative software.
The NuPhy Node75 represents a fresh take on keyboard design that creative professionals and productivity enthusiasts have been waiting for. The customizable touch zone puts frequently used controls at your fingertips, while the retro-modern aesthetic and exceptional typing experience make it feel special on any desk. Whether you’re editing video, coding, or just want a keyboard that works as hard as you do, the Node75 delivers style and substance in equal measure.
