old door turned new table

Using paint is one of the easiest ways to transform your space or furniture and accessories. I used an old door that my parents were going to throw out painted a colorful pattern on it, added legs and turned it into a desk!

A few tips-
Any types of house paint or acrylic paint will work for this type of project. I used a combination of left over house paint for the first layer and acrylic paint for the details and embellishments.

You can seal a project like this with a polyurethane- on of my favorite products to use on indoor furniture is Minwax Polycrylic- https://www.minwax.com/wood-products/clear-protective-finishes/interior/minwax-polycrylic-protective-finish#product-details

I also love the sealer from Giani- Acrylic Glitter Top Coat- https://gianigranite.com/collections/giani-countertop-paint/products/100-acrylic-high-gloss-glitter-topcoat-for-giani-countertop-paint-kits-step-3?variant=39426386591790
