i’ve noticed a trend of late — plush sofas and soft, loungey-like chairs seem to be taking on a new life and popping up everywhere. they’ve been around a long while of course, but the sofas i’ve been seeing have an all-new unique, modern shape and often come in bold colors, too — think a little more whimsical, perhaps and much less traditional. Michel Ducaroy’s from ligne roset has long been the ultimate in comfort and style (for over forty years!) but all of a sudden are really on trend again. i can see why — the cool lines and the comfort alone has had me coveting a for years. but other very plush velvet sofas are making the decor scene, too and i thought i’d round up a few i really love. you can find beautiful plush sofas at places like , and just to name a few, and always check vintage online sources like and , as well. let’s get comfy, shall we?
