in case you were wondering, the palme d’or is the highest prize awarded at the Cannes Film Festival. but today i’m borrowing it to give kudos to all things palm-related out there in the design world. the palm is an iconic theme in decor and a classic that seems to outlast them all. it’s had a revival of late, and i’m seeing palms popping up in all kinds of unexpected places — from and to trendy . palms give off that hollywood regency vibe that’s quite au courant and can take the dilemma out of a 1950’s pink tile bathroom and instead create a chic new tropical piece de resistance. from banana to balmy, the palm is definitely having a moment. allow me to show you just what i mean.
