
i love a good collage, and i also love making them, but i haven’t had at it in a good long while. and mine were never quite as good as the artists featured in this week’s . there are so many different mediums to work with in collage and i love the unexpected eye these artists take on in their own works of art. whether is clipping collage pieces from old magazine and eupherma to swiping an old image with a bit of paint, i just love the clever juxdapostion artists like , (whose captions are as amazing as her collages) and come of up with. one of my instagram favorites these days is artist martha Haversham (aka ) who creates the most brilliant collages from ‘found’ art like leaves, and even old cigarette butts. just genius. have a look at a few of my favorite collages.
