i’m not even sure when i became enamored of the art of gemstones, or gemology as art — i don’t even feel entirely clear on what it is i’m sharing here today (i may be out of my league scientifically). but i do know i quite like these kinds of nerdy, scientific images of, quite literally, shiny rocks, and i think they’d look terrific hanging on our walls. the top image is by english artist , and he appears to be doing quite well in the art world, so maybe i’m on to something.
