Is this a marketing stunt? Partially, yes. But it is a clever one, because the light-shield cover is functional, not just decorative. My honest take is that the Batman collaboration is what will get people through the door, but the hardware is what will make them stay. At $299, with an early bird price of $249 through March 28, the Air 4 Pro is not cheap, but it is positioned well against the competition. It works with iPhones, Android flagships, PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and most modern devices, which removes a lot of the friction that has held wearables back.
RayNeo has clearly done its homework. The Air 4 Pro is not trying to replace your phone or your TV. It is offering a better version of the portable screen experience, and the Batman costume is just the perfect way to announce it.
