it’s no secret i’m completely in sync and a fan of interior designer leanne ford’s eclectic aesthetic. it’s everything i love about design — uniquely unexpected, a little bit quirky and a brilliant balance of vintage and modern. so i’m very excited that leanne invited me to share an exclusive on a recent episode of her HGTV show restored by the fords. in this episode, Leanne and her brother Steve Ford beautifully restore the rineman house — a newly purchased, 1930s farmhouse in the country. Leanne highlights the home’s existing beauty while bringing out more of its character with modern-bohemian touches including whitewashed beamed ceilings (i want these in my kitchen!), natural hardwood floors and a white-on-white color scheme that really opens up the space. to watch this inspiring episode tune into restored by the fords — i watch on hulu or wherever you watch HGTV — it’s definitely my favorite home restoration show and the most relatable one i’ve discovered thus far. you can also follow leanne on instagram and hop over here to see more inspiring design projects from leanne. you can also find leanne’s fabulous new lighting collection at target.
