hellooooo monday! i’m back from my little sabbatical and have some new ideas for the bog up my sleeve and will keep you updated on those soon! in the meantime, anybody looking for a home in the los angeles area? well, i’ve found your dream house! this is a 1929 spanish revival home located in silver lake listed by my go-to realtor rob kallick of take sunset, and it’s got california living written all over it. it’s another renovation project from one of my favorite design firms, Breland-Harper — you might recall this frogtown project of their’s that i came seriously close to making an offer on. it’s got their signature style written all over it — exposed beam ceilings, brick and hardwood floors, and loads of french doors creating a wonderful sense of openness and light throughout the home, almost like you’re living outdoors. i could move in ‘as is’ and be quite content. if you’d like to know more about this stunning home, visit take sunset, and if you’re just a looky-loo like me, enjoy the inspiring tour!
