Yemanja supported Steerone in its relocation. The leased space remains the same, and the neighborhood hasn’t changed, but the office layout has been completely reimagined. Steerone defines itself as an exploration firm for management control departments. Together with Steerone, Yemanja explored how the office is used in order to prepare an efficient layout.
Steerone’s previous offices were functional but unconventional—they no longer suited the team’s ways of working. Moreover, the space felt impersonal for a team that has so many values to share and stories to tell.
Yemanja drew on Steerone’s passion for exploration to create a distinctive universe for the new offices. Steerone loves venturing toward new horizons. The design highlights the determination and passion of a team made up of unique and complementary personalities.
Team members call themselves the ‘Intrepids’—adaptive and resilient, just like the environments they study. Yemanja embraced this spirit by adding subtle nods throughout the space. A long custom bench along the edge of the open space is topped with ‘sample tubes’—3D-printed, illuminated columns that spell out the word ‘Intrepids’.

Yemanja proposed a sustainable project to Steerone, prioritizing the reuse of existing and relocated furniture. The custom tables that completed the layout were crafted by Yemanja’s makers in their Paris workshop using a recycled plastic material.
For the flooring, two eco-designed options were selected: marmoleum made from natural fibers embedded with cocoa bean fragments, and non-woven PVC produced from recycled plastic.
In the executive office, a unique detail was added: a small child-sized desk made to match the dimensions of the one used by the office’s occupant!
