Stereoscope, a specialty coffee roastery based in Los Angeles, is known for its exceptional roasts. They believe that coffee is more than just its taste and processing methods, and strive to create distinctive experiences and fair relationships, rather than prioritizing low prices and uniform flavor. Stereoscope also holds a strong belief in our responsibility towards coffee, recognizing that it is a living organism and not merely a commodity. This includes taking care of the workers who farm it and respecting the beans themselves.

Stereoscope has created a welcoming environment across their four locations, where they strive to highlight the positive effects that coffee has on local communities and farms, while also acknowledging its cultural and ecological significance. The design agency, Olssøn Barbieri, collaborated closely with the team to represent the roastery’s forward-thinking philosophy through their branding, packaging, and printed materials, showcasing their distinctive perspective with intricate typography and careful attention to detail.
