How do you bring a Finnish company to San Francisco without losing what makes either place distinct? You lean into both. Nordic simplicity meets local grit, while iconic game characters stir playful chaos across the city’s landmarks.
That duality shapes the plan. Flexible work zones, meeting rooms and lounges shift easily between quiet focus and full team energy. The layout keeps ideas moving and collaboration natural.
Blending Finnish restraint with San Francisco texture was the central challenge. Finland brings clean lines, natural wood and thoughtful calm. San Francisco brings brick, metal and edge. The space allows both to coexist. Nordic tones soften industrial materials, creating a design that feels confident and rooted in place.
Nature grounds the energy. Daylight fills the floor plate. Plants and moss installations support wellbeing while reinforcing the connection to the outdoors. Warm wood surfaces unify the palette and strengthen the Nordic influence.
Storytelling gives the headquarters its personality. Large scale graphics show beloved characters let loose across the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars and the Castro Theatre. Their mayhem transforms the workplace into a living extension of the creative universe.
The result is a headquarters that feels settled and spirited at once, proudly Finnish and unmistakably San Francisco.
