Inside the building at Via Pirelli 35—originally designed by Park Associati and Snøhetta—the new TeamSystem headquarters takes shape, spanning ten floors for a total surface area of approximately 12,000 square meters. This project doesn’t merely reinterpret the spaces; it redesigns the company’s very identity, establishing a dialogue between aesthetics and functionality.
The project first tackles a technical challenge: reconstructing the building’s internal envelope by concealing the existing exposed systems. These have been hidden through an innovative system of sound-insulating solutions capable of ensuring acoustic comfort and isolation between environments. Baffle panels, acoustic floor pads, and soffits masking the air-conditioning ducts define a new interior landscape, while the pre-existing lighting system has been adapted to integrate with the new layout.
From the second to the eighth floor, the spaces are conceived according to a logic of flexibility and varied use. Alongside the operational open spaces—developed in four different configurations, from standard layouts to team-working and delivery stations, and even “silence” areas—there are traditional and standing meeting rooms, touch-down stations, and support zones. The organization does not follow a repetitive “typical floor” scheme; instead, it is individually calibrated for each level, with partition-furniture elements that incorporate additional functions such as lockers.
The first floor stands out for housing special functions, including a company gym, while the ninth floor shifts the focus toward collective use. Here, an event area with bar and terrace is found, fully reconfigurable thanks to movable partitions, control systems, and integrated storage solutions that allow the space to adapt to multiple functions.
Finally, the tenth floor is reserved for executive functions, with areas dedicated to the board and enriched by innovative spaces available to all employees, including a recording room designed for the production of multimedia content for the company.
The ground floor, with its reception area, welcomes and introduces visitors to the headquarters’ renewed identity. Throughout the project, great attention has been devoted to furnishings: over 110 different types of elements—custom-designed or derived from personalized series—help create a dynamic, reconfigurable environment consistent with the image of a company in constant evolution.
