most european kitchens are teeny-weeny, but even with a minimal amount of square footage, they’re still big on style. mind you, i get it — this look is not for everyone, and it may go against the trend right now, but that never stopped me from finding funky looks inspiring. with a small kitchen, you’ve got to go vertical, adding creative storage solutions and unique shelving. and, everything is on display, so you’d might as well have fun with it, much like julia child did in her (just below). she may have been the original pegboarder, i’m not sure, but it sure looks swell and is oh-so-functional, too.
