i’ve shared helsinki-based stylist and interior decorator lovely work here before and now we’re sharing her latest project in collaboration with , finland’s largest residential construction company. task was to design the interiors of small studio apartment — which is part of their clever new housing project, called ‘Smartti’ — a refreshing and flexible solution that combines functionality and adaptability with reasonable prices designed by architects .
The Smartti concept was presented to the public at Kansalaistori in Helsinki last week, and had the privilege to decorate and style her version of it. built in a shipping container, it was studio apartment that laura furnished for a young woman who owns a flower shop. her aim was to use as ecological and organic materials in the furniture and textiles as possible; such as wood, cork, wool, rattan, flax. she added Green plants to bring color to otherwise calm tones and neutral surfaces. The items used in the decoration were mostly collected from local shop owners and entrepreneurs (sources listed below). Smartti homes come with a range of pre-designed interior styles that make them more personal and adaptable to different lifestyles and preferences — pretty cool idea! for more inspiration from laura, follow her on .
