ELIYA designed the 340-square-meter office space now home to ThinkUp in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Located at the heart of Tel Aviv, this 340-square-meter space is on the building’s entrance floor and overlooks the city’s busy road through a glass facade. The design concept of THINKUP’s office started from their podcast room. It was important to us to create a glass bubble with a completely transparent background to highlight the bustling atmosphere of downtown Tel Aviv, the high-tech city, just outside the building. After we were certain that the podcast room would serve as the front of the building, and the city would serve as a backdrop for the office, we could accommodate the reception area and the waiting area across from the entrance, along with a private dining room. As you walk along the passage, the conference room greets you next, and further down the passage is the CEO’s office, alongside an open workspace. The shared space was important to our clients, to maintain an open work environment and encourage active brainstorming. To create a bright office in this linear plan, the rooms were organized in a linear style along the side wall, so that the passage leading to the rooms maintains a transparent facade facing the city. We chose a color palette that corresponds with the company’s colors: the main colors in the space are neutral, instilling a sense of calm and providing room for renewal, with touches of brighter color in strategic places. We chose an innovative design that incorporates the contemporary style of the project. The entrance to the space, the reception area, and the front waiting area welcome visitors with rounded floors and arched walls. This design is in line with the company’s values, aiming to always think outside the box.

The idea was to create an open office that is light and airy by bringing reflections of the outside sky into the rooms. The carpentry details on site are custom designed. Overall, the Thinkup office space designed by ELIYA is a testament to the power of design and technology. By combining the two, we created a work environment that promotes collaboration and transparency while being functional and efficient. The office is a hybrid workspace built to accommodate young entrepreneurs who can work there on a daily or hourly basis, providing an ideal work environment for innovation.
