22 Bishopsgate hosts UniCredit’s new connected office space. Morgan Lovell partnered with BDG architecture + design to translate the design concept into a functional, high quality environment that frames the stunning view of London from the 49th floor.
UniCredit set out to create a workspace that embodied their values of connectivity and innovation. They pictured a streamlined, unified environment that would bring their people together on a single floor to support a culture of open communication and collaboration. With a bold concept in place, rich with bespoke joinery and detailing, UniCredit required an inspiring and cohesive space that reflected their dynamic spirit. With a tight timeline of just eight weeks to begin the fit out and a further 13 weeks on site, UniCredit sought a partner who could bring this vision to life with precision and flexibility.
To meet UniCredit’s brief, Morgan Lovell and BDG architecture + design worked closely to turn their ideas into a practical, functional space. The design features a striking reception area with a curved sofa, statement lighting and a small teapoint. The prominent UniCredit logo adds a professional touch. A standout element is the curved joinery, which gives the space a unique charm and warmly welcomes visitors and staff into a sophisticated yet accessible environment.
The main workspace includes an open plan area with sit stand desks and various collaboration zones, complete with movable curtain partitions to create flexible breakout spaces. Meeting rooms and private booths provide spaces for focused work, while the boardroom and research area with acoustic glazing ensure high levels of privacy when needed. Positioned on the 49th floor, the workspace also offers stunning views of London, especially from the kitchen and breakout area, adding an inspiring touch to daily interactions.
