Utimaco is dedicated to developing technological solutions that ensure the security of data and digital systems for critical organizations. For the design of its new office space, the company collaborated with pro m2, with a team led by Jan Oelze and Laura Alvaro.

The concept spans 3,500 sqm and is driven by a clear idea: to foster transparency, collaboration, and flexibility in the workplace.

The project is based on an open-plan organization in which even management areas are integrated into the overall layout, removing physical hierarchies and encouraging a more horizontal culture. Spaces are conceived as versatile environments, capable of adapting to different ways of working, from individual focus to team collaboration.

An industrial aesthetic defines the interior design, bringing a contemporary and honest identity, while the integration of corporate colors strengthens the connection to the brand and provides visual coherence throughout the space.

Elements such as think tanks, meeting rooms, and lounge areas—combined through open spaces, glazed rooms, and transitional zones—introduce different levels of privacy without losing visual continuity, creating a balance between openness and concentration.

The result is a dynamic and flexible office environment that responds to current workplace needs, aligning design, corporate culture, and functionality within a unique setting.
