It is with great pleasure that we unveil our Video Highlights from Milan Design Week 2019, directed and produced by Team Yellowtrace together with our awesome Milan-based filmmaker, Giacomo. Think of this post as a video version of our epic Milan Design Week 2019 Highlights, plus a few extra bits and pieces thrown in for good measure.

This video brings together the highlights from all the installations and events we’ve attended around the city that fall outside the furniture fair at Rho (also known as Salone Del Mobile). We’ve visited official design districts like 5Vie, Tortona, Brera, Ventura Centrale, Isola, and beyond. We’ve been to countless group shows located at various palazzos, galleries and abandoned industrial spaces scattered around the city, including stand out installations like Studiopepe’s Les Arcanistes, Draga & Aurel’s sublime solo show Transparency Matters, the second edition of Life in Vogue (pictured), Nina Yashar’s always fantastic Nilufar Depot, the so-cool-it-hurts Kvadrat x Raf Simons ‘No Man’s Land’ installation, ALCOVA’s excellent second edition located in a former panettone factory, including their new location in Isola, Note’s Brilliant Vinyl Interpretation for Tarkett, and so forth.

We also saw lots of Australian designers in Milan this year which has been absolutely fantastic. Of course, there’s so much MORE packed into these three and a half very quick-moving minutes that I simply cannot mention here, so you’ll just have to kick back and enjoy the ride.
