Viola, one of Israel’s most prominent and influential technology investments groups, has entered a new chapter with the relocation of its offices to the new Landmark Tower in Tel Aviv. More than a simple change of address, the move became an opportunity to articulate a fresh identity—one that tells a story.
Much like the group itself, composed of a rich tapestry of funds and areas of activity, the leading design concept chosen for the offices is weave. A material and graphic language of lines, connections, and layers creates a continuous sense of warp and weft—subtle in detail yet powerful at scale. Diagonal lines and triangular geometries recur throughout the space, drawing inspiration from the “V” of Viola and finding expression in the architecture, ceilings, and bespoke joinery.
The result is refined and elegant, without feeling overly polished. Alongside warm, carefully selected materials, exposed and industrial elements were introduced as a nod to the high-tech world, the primary arena of activity for Viola’s funds and portfolio companies. The dialogue between these two worlds creates a balanced tension between representation and innovation, formality and entrepreneurial spirit.
The floor is divided into two wings connected by a bridge, allowing open views into the tower’s dramatic atrium and out toward the Tel Aviv skyline. Each wing features its own lobby, designed in a shared language yet with a distinct atmosphere. A reception desk clad in geometric Corten steel greets visitors, set against a textured concrete relief wall, also articulated through geometric patterns. In one lobby, a three-dimensional triangular ceiling installation creates a striking, dramatic effect; in the other, a metal grid ceiling functions as a louver for the suspended lighting above it, a deliberate industrial counterpoint to the elegant wooden partitions within the space.
The office partitions are constructed from bronze profiles with Belgian-style divisions, while exposed systems in the corridors are partially concealed by custom-designed ceiling tiles that recreate the woven effect, integrated with lighting fixtures.
Each meeting room was designed in a unique color palette and with a distinctly warm, residential feel, enhancing comfort for both visitors and employees. The main cafeteria was conceived as a multifunctional space, suitable for everyday use as well as for gatherings and celebratory events. The bold color of the kitchen counters injects a youthful energy into the space, complemented by a geometric acoustic wood ceiling that continues the overarching design language.
Special attention was given to the walls throughout the office: some are dedicated to displaying art, while others showcase the many portfolio companies and notable exits achieved with the group’s support. Together, these elements transform the office into more than a workplace—it becomes a spatial expression of Viola’s identity, values, and history: a single weave of people, partnerships, entrpreneurs , and success.
