
i’ve visited Lisbon twice now, but thus far, my heart has only grown fonder for it as i stumble across more and more design gems — the city is just full of food served with a friendly dose of charm. the sweet little neighborhood coffee shop is no different and is immediately going on our must-visit places when we do finally make a return to Portugal. its owner teresa, and her architect husband are responsible for this adorable spot. its dreamy floor tiles remind us of old-world lisbon, while the kitschy, upbeat decor brings us back to the now. oh, and in case you were wondering what a luz ideal means, it directly translates to the ideal light — so let’s stop in for a morning cup of coffee, and some sweet treats in our very best summer ensemble. we’re going colorfully casual today, in a sweet , paired with a flouncy (that also doubles as a dress when you hike it up!) with a pretty thrown chicly over our shoulders in case there’s a wee a chill in the air. add to that a sassy foldable and , , and a favorite pair of . i’ve also packed us a fun to capture this cute cafe and the sightseeing beyond. nothing seems more fitting for a morning spent here than an excellent read so i suggest by sally rooney — one of my very favorites and now a mini-series on (but do read the book first!). sally rooney’s perfectly spare prose tells a story that explores the subtleties of ireland’s class system, the electricity and comlications of first love, and the complex entanglements of family and friendship.
