one place i haven’t visited since i was a wee young girl is montreal, canada, and i have very fond memories of visiting my cousins there. montreal might seem like a long way away to get your bagel, lox & cream cheese fix, but looks well worth the trip. a darling little vintage-inspired deli nestled on bustling Notre-Dame Street West in St-Henri, reimagined Jewish fare has Montrealers lining up. Owners Raegan Steinberg and her husband, Alex Cohen opened it as a tribute to her beloved father, arthur a charming, vivacious man, and a total foodie — never dreaming the place would become such a local favorite. They simply set out to create a cozy neighborhood joint serving good, honest food to be enjoyed any day of the week. we suggest casually tossing on a pair of chic , some stylish but comfy and our best — just in case we decide to hit the market after brunch. and since we’re in a french speaking city, how about reading (or re-reading) by Peter Mayle — i can’t think of a better way to armchair travel while we await our table.

wear this there: Scarlet Blouse; CROCHETED RAFFIA HAT; Buckley Straight Jeans; Gus Sandals; Wayfarer Polarized Sunglasses; Bead Hoop Earrings; Divine Duo Lip & Cheek in b. real; read this there by Peter Mayle; Geo Block Cuff bracelet; zip wallet; McGraw Straw Tote; bowie face mask.
