we’re jetting back to paris this week, because why the heck not, n’est-ce pas? this is but a fantasy, at least at this moment. we’re headed to what looks to me to be très jolie — in Paris’s 11th arrondissement. a sleek-looking spot, was born from owner Fabien Lombardi’s passion for music, and a desire to share around a record, drawing their inspiration from the four corners of the globe, the festivity of Tel Aviv, the clubs of London and New York, and perhaps most especially, the Jazz cafés of Tokyo. but it’s not just music we’ve come here for, let’s grab a highball and one or two of the very delicious-looking dishes cooked over charcoal and in a wood-fired oven. they’ve even got their own so on our walk over we’ll listen to their tunes with some to get ourselves properly in the mood for music. we’re going to dress up a tad tonight, too, because honestly it’s just been too dang long since we’ve gotten fancy. i’ve got some kind of tomboy chic vibes going on with a worn with some and paired with some strappy art deco-looking high-. we’re adding some further oomph with a slick black , , and a menswear-inspired Tie Patterned (because i don’t think we’re even allowed in france without some sort of scarf!). and to get ourselves good and educated about all things new in paris, we’re bringing along by rosa park so we know where to head for the after-party nightcap. i think it’s going to be really fun, and quite possibly, a very late evening!
