
in honor of my new hometown, laguna beach (it’s almost been a year!), i thought it might be nice to share laguna’s own this week — a petite boutique resort nestled above beautiful shaw’s cove (just a short stroll from the hotel to this secluded, beautiful beach). not only are the grounds and view gorgeous, but the renovation to this retro hotel is simply stunning — and they’ve really thought of everything to make you feel welcome — from snorkel gear to beach umbrellas and bikes. the chef here is outstanding, too, and breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is a must. drinks and board games in the charming bar area with its cozy fireplace are just what we need for a weekend away. we’re just going to grab our comfiest gear and hit the road down south — a cozy favorite , favorite paired with and a cute . don’t forget , and a cute by isabel wilkerson, beautifully written, original, and revealing, is an eye-opening story of people and history and a reexamination of what lies under the surface of ordinary lives and of America life today — beyond race, class, or other factors, there is a powerful caste system that influences people’s lives and behavior our the nation’s fate.
