i must truly be in holiday fantasy mode because we’re off to the south of france once again for this week’s wear this there. i keep seeing this pretty spot popping up in my feeds of late, so let’s go! we’re headed to the very charming Hôtel Le Sud in Juan Les Pins, located on the French Riviera situated between Nice and Cannes in Southeastern France. fancy! but not too — the chic resort town of Juan-les-Pins is known for its long, sandy beaches and seafront promenade, and this hotel fits right in. whitewashed with colorful graphic details and actually quite casual — they even serve meals from their very own La Cambrousse food truck. i love vacations where i don’t really need to dress up after a long day at the beach, pool or exploring the local surroundings. so we’re going super beachy with some white denim jeans worn with a navy tank top and denim jean jacket. we’ll add some oomph with a cute sunhat, some sassy french sneakers, and oversized sunnies. i’ve added a neck scarf, too, because duh, it’s france. i’ve thrown in a swimsuit, of course, a cute cover-up that doubles as an evening dress (look at that back detail!) and i know they’re extravagant, but we’re fantasizing so let’s pack these prada slides. we’ve packed you some cute gingham pj’s and a good book, too — The Midnight Library by Matt Haig. Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe, there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. Would you have done anything differently, if you had the chance to undo your regrets? this book gives you some insight into what that might look like. bon voyage!
