alrighty, buckle up, because today we’re heading all the way to kraków, poland. poland is a place i’ve longed to visit, partly because i feel like it will be a big surprise for me because i’m not really sure what to expect when i get there — it’s just not that publicized as a tourist destination, and i like that aspect of travel! we’re headed to a very Bauhaus-looking coffee shop, Królowa Przedmieścia — which translates to the ‘queen of the suburbs’, which made me laugh. i love the spot-on stylish and charming, ultra-European atmosphere here. Królowa Przedmieścia is definitely casual and cozy but very chic! we’re going to get comfy so we fit right in with a tri-colored sweater, our favorite flared black denim, a cool biker jacket and Chelsea boots. don’t forget a scarf (aka mask), great crossbody bag, and warm beanie. i recently listened to an episode of Dax Shepard’s armchair expert and it’s one i really think is worth a listen. it’s a podcast episode with guest isabel wilkerson, one of my favorite authors of late. if you want to get an idea of what her bestselling books, the warmth of other suns and Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents are about, this is an excellent and informative listen.
