some things never change, and one of those is the beloved along the seine. essentially, it’s an enormous and very charming open-air bookshop that’s been a part of the parisian landscape dating back to the 16th century. stalls and their more than 200 vendors can be found along the banks of the seine, including on the right and left bank. with their iconic metallic green awnings, these literary and historic have become an essential and cherished part of the city of lights, and one stroll i never miss. in fact, these are photographs from my many trips there over the years.
