wear this there: llewelyn’s london.

greetings, my armchair travelers! i’m back with another wear this there and this time, we’re headed to londontown — one of my favorite places on the planet. so much so, i think i could live there, but i digress. we’re going to spend the weekend exploring the city, but we’re specifically dropping into llewelyn’s, a charming south london supper club in herne hill, with its very own brand new wine bar lulu’s, right next door. i love the look of llewelyn’s, and their food looks fabulous, too. we can dine inside or al fresco, so i’ve created a few ensembles to keep us warm no matter what the london weather has in store.

i’ve gotten a bit quirky with these ensembles — london is, after all, a very pop culture kind of place, worthy of your best fashion foot forward. so i’ve packed you a chic black dress to layer up with a beanie and cropped cardigan. we’re adding funk with fun sheer striped socks worn with the classic fisherman’s sandal and fanny pack. i’ve added some alternates since were here all weekend — a flowy white skirt you can dress down with a bowie tee and the cardigan, some sassy mules, and a must-have black clutch. i’ve included lots of baubles to add some bling, too. naturally, i’ve included some cozy cosabella pj’s and a book by one of my favorite english novelists, altered states by anita brookner, a beautifully-told tale of loneliness, guilt, and obsession.
