we’re headed back to the city by the bay today — my old stomping grounds and specifically, we’re headed to one of my most missed-eating establishments, . when i lived in san francisco there was but just one in town, in hayes valley, but now they’ve happily got multiple greek restaurants throughout the city, and their latest is in , one of my favorite neighborhoods — formerly a shipbuilding hub dating back to the 1800s, it’s now full of cafes and bars, art galleries and artist lofts. i feel slightly weak craving their food as i write this — greek spreads, fresh pitas, gyros, and their mouth-watering rotisserie chicken served sliced with charred lemon and tzatziki. and don’t forget their frozen greek yogurt, which you can also get to go from a charming take-out window. oh, and if you’re reading this, , please open next in laguna beach. i beg of you.
