
after being cooped up at home, eating unhealthy comfort foods, too many sweets, and just generally being sloth-like the very charming in bristol, england is probably at the top of my list to inspire me back into healthy eating — and a robust trip to the fresh air of the english countryside sounds dreamy, right? is a former victorian orangery turned restaurant hidden away in the somerset countryside, serving up only the seasonal best and foraged ingredients from the idyllic landscape that surrounds it by brothers iain and matthew pennington. i really must visit this place — it looks like a place we all must make the journey to post-covid, doesn’t it? in the meantime, you can view some of their recipes featured on this week. it may still be summer but we’re headed off to jolly olde england where the weather can get cool, so we’re getting our fall gear together for this trip with some cozy layers — a cute , our favorite (perfect for the country) and some great looking . on the flight over, i suggest reading by Anita Brookner — it tells the story of Edith Hope, a british woman who writes romance novels under a pseudonym.
