we’re staying close to home today (well, at least my home) and headed to the city of angels – Los Angeles that is, but it may feel a little bit Parisian. i’ve actually stayed at and this weekend we’re headed to its sister hotel where i’ve also stayed. the is as much for locals as it is for out-of-towners, so when i’ve had an event in the city it’s a grand spot to rest my head in one of their very chic art deco beds. it’s a favorite boutique hotel of mine with serene bedrooms with the loveliest lighting, two delicious restaurants right on-site, and a rooftop pool for catching all those sunny L.A. rays — all in one very grand historic building, with sparkling city views for miles around. we’re going to pack a sassy little outfit for cocktail hour — a sweet worn over a , some fun and a pale pink thrown over our shoulders in case of an evening chill. and don’t forget to pack a for a midnight swim and some , too. if you’ve not been to L.A. in a while i recommend checking out the by rosa park – it’ll give you all the inside scoop with what to see and where to go in dtla.
