yay, we’re back to virtually traveling and today and we’re headed to visit our friends to the north in Montréal, the largest city in Canada’s beautiful Québec province. i was once here visiting my aunt & uncle many, many moons ago, and i’m itching to get back to this charming french Canadian city. but today, it’s not french food we’re savoring but instead, a good old neighborhood pizza joint, called vesta. vesta is the Roman goddess of home and family so prepare to make yourself right at home here. who knew canned tomatoes could look so charming as part of the decor? and i don’t know about you, but now i’m really hankering for a glass of vino rosso and a Margherita pizza! since it’s getting chilly up north it’s time to start layering up, casual yet in style! we’re pairing a mod print top with straight leg black jeans, fun and comfy boots and we’ll be keeping warm in a quilted leather jacket, and a green cashmere beanie and scarf. while you await your mates, check out The Liar’s Dictionary by Eley Williams. if you’re a ‘word person’ like me you’ll love this story of emily, whose job it is to locate ‘Mountweazels’ — fake entries deliberately inserted into dictionaries. such a fun and unexpected read!
