The state-of-the-art two-storey facility will include a multi-use function room for up to 250 people, a recording studio, and modern amenities. A key highlight is the Betty Malthus Library, named after the former Chief Librarian of Blacktown City.
The Hub is part of the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants program, aimed at revitalizing the area with improved public spaces and facilities. Blacktown City Mayor Brad Bunting described it as “more than just a building, it’s more than just a library, it’s a long-term investment in our community.”
Community members are invited to preview the architectural design at upcoming public sessions on February 15 and 20 at Seven Hills Station.
