POCA design completed a modern space for the Yao Sheng Electronic offices in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

The client is an electronic parts company, relocated from New Taipei City to a five-story industrial building in Daxi District, Taoyuan City, as their global corporate headquarters. In the post-epidemic era, other than moving to some prime location, and try to squeeze the efficiency of each desk. Our client decided to relocate to the outskirt of the city with the ability to enjoy more space and greater environment and view, how we define a larger space with their own character is the challenge of this project.

In addition to the curve of the transformer coil, the design vocabulary also echoes the curve of the Dahan River as the arc-shaped element spindle in the space. The junction of the open office area and the independent office is shaped by a circular curved ceiling to conceal the pipelines and smoke vents required by the large-scale fire smoke regulations. The open space ceiling, with the shape of stacked high and low, the space of the integrated air conditioning and supply fan, the air outlet hidden in the overlapping gap, and the tail end turned downward to cover the curtain and smoke exhaust window, is the innovative breakthrough of this case.
