mondays, blurgh. who wants coffee and warm, melty buttered toast in bed? me, me! i could say that today’s post is inspired by breakfast in bed, but what has really inspired today’s color story is one of my favorite friends and interior and homewares designers sarah sherman samuel’s brand new collection in collaboration with lulu & georgia. i just love the muted color palette and always feel compelled to recreate it in my own home — so warm and inviting! and i’m most especially smitten by sarah’s modern take on the daybed (just above) — those scalloped edges, oh la la. I’ve rounded up some other looks inspired by sarah’s collection and think any of her new pieces would be quite smashing in an eclectic mix-up in any of these spaces. and if you happen to be in the L.A. area, have a visit to the Lulu & Georgia showroom pop-up at the Platform in Culver City to see and shop the new Sarah Sherman Samuel collection in person. congratulations, sarah on another beautiful achievement!
