i feel so very lucky to live biking distance from echo park lake, especially when the lotus flowers are in bloom. every year, i find myself spending more and more time here, taking in the view during this special season. so when Blue Diamond invited me to give their new Crafted Gourmet Almonds a try, i figured it was the perfect time to treat myself to a delicious picnic in the park!

with the skins removed, Blue Diamond Crafted Gourmet Almonds have a uniquely smooth texture but still pack that nutty crunch that make almonds so fun to snack on. they’re also roasted, lightly oiled and seasoned with a palate-perfect blend of herbs and spices. i’m seriously loving how well they pair with so many different foods, both sweet and savory, and find myself adding them to everything these days. i have even become ‘that girl’ who keeps a stash in my purse for on-the-go snacking.

for my picnic in the park, i decided to use the Garlic, Herb, and Olive Oil but they also come in Pink Himalayan Salt, Rosemary and Sea Salt and Black Truffle. it’s been fun mixing and matching each of these flavors with different foods to create the perfect combination for whatever mood i’m in. if you haven’t tried them yet, i highly recommend picking some up. these flawlessly seasoned almonds are definitely a new favorite of mine. happy snacking, everyone!
