L.A. Frogtown home gets Anthropologie decor update / sfgirlbybay

back in 2018, i posted about a very covetable home for sale in frogtown, along the L.A. river. it’s long been a favorite of mine with its exposed rustic beamed ceilings and many french doors to the outside gardens that surround the house. it felt like somewhere in Provence, france to me, rather than just miles from downtown L.A. originally redesigned by breland-harper and sold by my own realtor rob kallick from take sunset, this week a thoughtful reader sent me this brand new update to the home, which anthropologie has used as a very beautiful photoshoot location. i loved the original decor, but it’s always fun to get a sneak peek at it decorated differently, but still with the same unique, open, and very bohemian vibe. they’ve filled the home with Anthropologie’s latest collections and the aesthetic is warm and inviting, and if i’m not mistaken it looks like the new owners have also installed a fireplace, which looks fantastic and blends right into the breland-harper renovation. i most especially love the look of anthro’s bar cabinet and that pretty pink sofa from their arnaud collection — the armless chairs from that collection are pretty great, too. so have a look-see and see the difference!
