and, we’re back! happy new year everyone, and thank you so much for allowing us a bit of time off to refresh our brains and feed our souls. i hope you all had a lovely holiday season! i thought we’d get right back to it with a clean slate. i’ve been decluttering and getting organized for 2019 — how about you? it always feels so good to get rid of what i no longer need and to start the new year fresh (i found donating to my local women’s shelter downtown is a great way to do it!). you not need to get rid of everything but as the book (and new !) instructs us, it’s important to purge and once you do (if you follow her ) it will help you clear your clutter and enjoy the uniquely magical feeling of a tidy home — and the calm, motivated mindset it can inspire. but even if you don’t into go full-blown cleansing, simplifying your life can feel really, really good and even if taken in baby steps is a great way to change old habits and give you a chance to reinvent what you might not like about yourself, or your home. i was inspired by these clean, uncluttered spaces and hope you will be too. let’s restore ourselves together — with less useless stuff and much more of what’s important and brings us joy.
