Eileen Gray, Table, called ‘de stijl’, 1922-1924. Oak, paint, sycamore. Via Virginia Museum of Modern Arts.

While Eileen Gray wasn’t formally associated with the De Stijl group from the Netherlands, this table is a homage to the movement’s ideals and a manifestation of her dialogue with design movements of her time.
