If you remember the first wave of titanium pans, you’ll know they were incredibly light and non-reactive, but they were awful at conducting heat evenly, leading to frustrating hot spots. Titaner’s 2.0 skillet solves this with a clever sandwich of metals. The exterior base is a layer of stainless steel, making it compatible with all cooktops, including induction. Above that sits the crucial aluminum core, the industry standard for fast and even heat distribution. This core is then encased in pure titanium, which forms the inert, non-reactive, and toxin-free cooking surface that makes contact with your food.
That top layer, the “Super-Burnt Ti Layer,” is where the proprietary magic seems to be.
