as i mentioned last week, i headed out to santa monica for a weekend with some very dear friends — always good for the soul. we stayed at the beautiful proper hotel and spent our days traipsing around town. i thought i’d share a visual tour of our brief getaway in the hopes it might inspire your own weekend away. it’s truly amazing how much a short weekend away (and just a short drive) from your immediate surroundings can boost your creativity and imagination. i highly recommend it.
