Anthony Burrill & Two Girls Co. team up for joyful giftware collaboration

Creativity, connection and affordable art are at the heart of this inspiring new collaboration between graphic artist Anthony Burrill and Bristol indie brand Two Girls Co.

If anyone knows the power of words, it’s Anthony Burrill. The graphic artist and designer has long been a beacon of positivity, best known for typographic prints with pithy but grounded slogans about life. His ‘Work hard and be nice to people’ poster, in particular, has become something of a design industry icon.

Now, he’s bringing his iconic style to a new audience—and making it wearable, too—thanks to a feel-good collab with Two Girls Co.

Founded by wife-and-wife duo Lucy Weston and Vicki Leach, Two Girls Co. is no stranger to joyful design. Since launching their brand back in 2017, they’ve built a loyal following with giftware that celebrates creativity, diversity and everyday inspiration.

Perfect pairing

This new collaboration—the second in a growing series—sees Anthony lend his optimistic, straight-talking charm to two special edition pieces: a pair of enamel pins and a vibrant sticker.

“We’ve admired Anthony’s work for so long,” enthuses Vicki. “Our house is practically an Anthony Burrill gallery!” Lucy adds, “The way he transforms simple, heartfelt messages into bold, memorable statements has been a huge inspiration to us and so many others.”

That admiration goes both ways. Anthony, who is known for his collaborative spirit and cross-disciplinary approach, was equally inspired by the duo’s ethos.

“I love the approach of Two Girls Co, with their positive messages and bold, colourful designs,” he says. “We share a common aim to create community and connection through our work. Collaboration with like-minded people is key to making great work happen.”

This shared philosophy has translated into a collection that’s as thoughtful as it is fun. The highlight is a twin pin set titled ‘Me & You, You & Me’: a wearable nod to togetherness and one of Anthony’s favourite phrases. Designed to be split and shared between friends, partners or chosen family, it’s a small but powerful celebration of human connection.

The second piece, a sticker emblazoned with the words ‘Ideas Are Everywhere’, channels a belief in everyday creativity. Bright, bold and versatile, it’s the kind of thing you’ll want to stick on everything from your laptop to your sketchbook or even the back of your bike helmet.

Bold words, beautiful forms

Two Girls Co.’s previous collaboration with illustrator Ana Jaks set the tone for their artist series: championing creative voices, fresh perspectives and uplifting messages.

With Anthony now on board, the brand is cementing its reputation as a platform for heartfelt, high-impact design that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

“Connection and ideas, those are the foundations of my work,” Anthony explains. “They’re reflected in this collaboration with Two Girls Co, and I think that’s why it feels so natural.”

By translating his sought-after style into affordable, everyday pieces, the collaboration opens the door to a new kind of art ownership: one that doesn’t require a gallery wall or a collector’s budget.

From their Bristol base, Vicki and Lucy continue to charm audiences with their mix of humour, honesty, and heartfelt creativity. This latest collaboration is a testament to what happens when you put good people, good ideas, and a bit of graphic magic together.
