even though i have nothing but admiration for you urban jungle lovers, personally the only place i can maintain a lot of plant life is outdoors — i love spending time on my backyard patio, especially right now! but indoors, i’m more of a one plant wonder kinda girl. i really just like one or two plants or trees in a room, and very often opt for a couple of large branches in a big vase over a planted pot. but i so admire those of you who can keep a whole slew of plants living well inside, and i do agree that greenery really adds warmth and life to a room. and if you’re less a green thumb like me, i think one strategically placed plant or vase really makes a lovely impact on a room. try to imagine any of these spaces without plant life and i think you’ll get my drift — kind of cold, right? and, if you’re a hiker or urban wanderer like me, it’s even fun to forage for branches in the wild if you’re able to take a walk somewhere near home in our great outdoors. i don’t know about you, but i really appreciate it more than ever.
