New York-based photographer, Nicole Franzen, has such a prolific portfolio, full of gorgeous interior photography and locations, that picking out this line-up was quite the challenge. There are so many ideas on her site that I’d like to file away for future projects. One example is the floor to ceiling wood paneling that has an updated ’70s touch without the Anchorman vibes. And one of my favorites has to be the kitchen with the small, square, terracotta tiles, ceramic pendant light and particleboard cupboards. None of those three elements would be things that I’d probably ever pick for myself — especially the particleboard — and yet, they go together so wonderfully here. There are plenty more styles of interiors on her instagram, as well as nicole’s website, including food and travel photography, so be sure to check it out!
