collecting ceramics of all kinds has become my latest hobby and i hope to take it a step further very soon since a new ceramics workshop has recently reopened in laguna beach. i’m signing up for classes at and cannot wait to get behind a pottery wheel again. i tried it once at the row dtla’s and found it to be so very zen. anyway, i started looking around for some inspiration for shapes and styles i like and would hope to learn to make one day, and thought i’d share. if you’re not into making your own there are so many great resources for collecting handmade pieces on , and even if you want to go on a hunt, and and are both great resources for vintage ceramics, too — and i often have a few vintage collectibles at , too. from serving pieces to incense burners there’s an abundance of interesting ceramics to begin a collection of your very own.
