this week’s is like one of those old jokes “what’s black and white and…and in this case, it’s a little bit rustic — which pairs beautifully with black and white and gives the look the modern touch most of us love. i love a well-curated blend of vintage and new, natural woods and lots of black and white — the look has endless inspiration for me because you almost never finish decorating and instead just continue to add to the mix. i think it’s embracing the old with the brand new, whether it’s building on a modern (or ) sofa that you just bought and then adding to it with a (they look great folded in piles), some great mismatched or bringing home a treasured souvenir or piece of art from a special trip, a vintage-inspired but rustic modern mix is always interesting and maybe most importantly — distinctly and so very personally you. the best, and the most unique look you can get!
