my mother always loved those odd little British sweets called . when i was little, i thought they were quite disgusting, but as one does, as i grew older i found an appreciation for black licorice and didn’t mind them as much. but i’ve always rather liked the color palette of those weird-looking geometric candy shapes, regardless of their flavor. so, today’s is inspired by the nostalgia of those shades — pink, black of course, and sometimes a bit of blue and yellow. a little offbeat, i know but i’m in a mood. i needed something joyful looking and this color palette fits the bill for me. i hope you enjoy this little trip down memory lane for me. this one’s for you, mum.
