Covéa Immobilier, a leading player in the property market, has entrusted Morning with the renovation of part of its iconic “Atlantique Montparnasse” building. Built in 1989–1990 by architect Jean Willerval, Atlantique Montparnasse has been undergoing continuous renovation since 2020 to provide its occupants with a building that is more environmentally friendly, more comfortable and service-oriented, brighter and more attractive.
Within this 33,000 m² building, Morning has been tasked with renovating and enhancing 2,000 m²: two reception areas, the cafeteria, access points to the company restaurant, lounges and meeting rooms, as well as the lift landings across seven floors. The aim: to modernise and unify the spaces in a coherent way, making them warm and attractive, and to rethink certain underused areas to put them to better use.
In detail, in terms of the building works, Morning carried out the removal and replacement of all floor and wall coverings, and a complete refurbishment of the ceiling.
Morning Connect, Morning’s IT division, installed the network infrastructure and audiovisual equipment in the meeting rooms and event spaces.
As for the fit-out, Morning designed all the new furnitures: reception desks, counters, bar, raised work area, bespoke bookcases, planters.
Finally, special attention was paid to the building’s identity to distinguish it from the adjacent Montparnasse train station: creation of the visual concept, naming and logo.
For this project, Morning drew inspiration from Brazilian modernist architecture, blending the building’s clean lines and raw materials with more organic, plant-inspired elements. The building’s natural light is now showcased, and its spacious interiors are enhanced by the use of materials such as wood, woven or braided textiles, and sandstone.
Renovated office space within this development has already attracted several major tenants, with new leases signed since the start of 2026 covering over 4,000 m².
