This 3 bedroom home turned office was envisioned as a minimal and modern workspace that balances functionality with moments of material richness. The client, working in the chemical industry, wanted a space that felt clean and precise while still carrying a distinct identity. To reflect this, the director’s cabin features a custom 3D wall inspired by chemical bonds, engraved into the surface as a symbolic backdrop. The cabin is designed around symmetry, with twin desks facing each other, a couch framed by a book-matched marble wall, and niches illuminated with warm orange light.

The design language carries through the entire office with a palette of black, white, wood and subtle accents of amber. The flooring in herringbone from Nileya and lime washed white walls set a restrained foundation, while simple black lights in sculptural shapes add rhythm. Paneling ties the spaces together while introducing depth and texture.

The layout unfolds in layers. The reception greets visitors with a marble and veneer desk, complemented by a waiting area accented with an orange-toned rug from Venjara. From here, the plan moves into an open office format. A conference room sits at the front with integrated storage and access to the director’s bathroom. The director’s cabin follows, positioned to overlook the conference room but with the option of blinds for privacy. Two smaller mirrored cabins, a kitchen, and the open workspace complete the compact plan.

To avoid uniformity, each workspace table was designed differently. The conference table is a monolithic slab of white marble, its base also in stone, paired with a standing TV to preserve views. The smaller cabins combine tinted glass, marble and veneer for a lighter composition, while the main desks in the director’s cabin are striking slabs of black Marquina marble paired with veneer storage.

The result is a refined and compact office that feels both minimal and bespoke, where clean geometry is softened by material detail and subtle bursts of warmth.
