welcome to the weekend, friends. although for me, it may be a bit of a working weekend, but i’m not mad about it, and instead, i’m actually pretty excited. i have taken on a few actual, real-life interior design projects, and i forgot how much i loved it. my dear friend dana from has hired me to assist her with a home here in laguna beach and it’s a beauty. i’m also helping another friend design his apartment in austin, texas, so perhaps a bit of a late-life career shift for me — from the written word to real-life design. stand by for more about that! i can feel this week’s are definitely shifting into a fall color palette (the photo above from speaks volumes about the seasonal change, too), so let’s see what i’ve rounded up for you. x, v.
